With more and more Australians are getting involved and interested in pole dancing, safety and injury prevention have become really important. It is an exercise form that can help you to get in amazing shape. But as there is a lot of body movement attached with it, minor injuries can take place anytime. Keep your hands clean and dry-
Dancing on the pole requires for a strong grip and a good hold. Wipe out properly lotions, oil, cream and other slippery substances. Also, if you’re in a classroom setting with several other pole dancing students, washing your hands can help prevent contiguous disease.

Take help from spotter-
Even the most confident and professional of pole dancers need a little help now and then, particularly when trying a new move or something which they are not familiar with. The job of a spotter is to provide their full attention and support to you when you’re doing your moves. This is very important especially when you’re doing inversions and some advanced moves. You’ll never know when accidents may occur.

Remove accessories-
Accessories such as rings, loose jewelry, watches and bracelets should be removed before you start your practice. Loose jewelry such as necklaces can also become a hazard when learning spins and inversions.
