If you are attending your first pole dancing class, there are few things you need to carry or do. Let’s check them out.

Proper clothing- While everything you read about pole dancing will tell you to wear as little as possible, but that doesn't mean you have to be naked-ish. Take shorts with you as well as heels. Shorts will help you to grip on to the pole and heels will make you feel more confident with a lot of moves. You can also wear sports bras, workout outfit. Obviously shorts are better but they don’t need to be super short. It is important to feel comfortable in what you are wearing.

Come with a positive attitude & mind- Pole dancing is challenging – mentally physically and sometimes even emotionally. And although pole dance is more widely accepted, there is still a stigma associated with it. Come to pole dancing classes in Castle Hill ready to embrace your experience and you will increase your enjoyment tenfold.

Come with dry hands and bare feet-
When it's your first time practicing on a pole, you'll quickly realize that dry hands are your best friend and hand/body lotion can wait. Wearing lotion will make you slippery, so skip the stuff a day before your intro Class. Try to stay away from touching oily surface or even eating oily food. Certainly you don’t want to get injured in your very first pole class.

Knee-pads and yoga mat-
These two items are really important while you are in a pole class. It is advised to buy quality knee-pads and yoga mat. Don’t forget to clean them regularly as they are often going to get dirty while you are in class.

Pole dancing is actually a perfectly safe class where you can embrace your inner acrobat and enjoy a full-body workout. Plus, you’ll gain confidence, strength and spectacular pole moves.
